Stuart Thompson was an Australian-representative baseball player.
Starting his junior career with the Berkeley Eagles Baseball Club, Stuart played five seasons with the Gold Coast Cougars (formerly East Coast Cougars) in the Australian Baseball League from 1993-1998, making the All-Star team in three of those years.
He was selected for the Australian team, competing as Designated Hitter, in the 1993 Intercontinental Cup and the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Stuart is represented on a 1995 Australian Baseball Card #100 and an All-Stars 1995 Australian Baseball Card #47 for the East Coast Cougars.
