Brett Duprez was a world champion lawn bowler.
Brett became the youngest player to win a South Pacific Singles title in 1994, going on to win again in 1996 and 1998. He won a gold medal in the pairs at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, and medalled twice at the World Outdoor Bowls Championship, a bronze in the 2000 pairs event, and a silver in the 2004 fours event.
Brett was named the Shellharbour City Australia Day Sports Award recipient in 1998, and Sports Star of the Year in 1996, 1997 and 1998. In 2012 he was inducted into the Bowls NSW John Young Hall of Fame.
In 2018 Bowls NSW named the Brett Duprez Development Series, a NSW seven-a-side competition, in his honour.
